Maurice Mounsdon - One of the last of The Few

This Christmas we remember one of the last remaining veterans to serve in the skies over Europe during WWII, Flight Lieutenant Maurice Mounsdon, who died on 06 Dec 19.

Maurice was shot down by German bombers on 31 Aug 1940, after being ordered to intercept. His aircraft caught fire and he bailed out at 14000ft.
